Ed-Cademy Educator Terms of Usage

1. Eligibility

Only individuals 18 years of age or older may register as educators on Ed-Cademy.
Educators must submit valid credentials, qualifications, or verifiable experience.
Additional requirements are outlined in the Ed-Cademy Educator Policy.


2. Content Ownership and License

Educators retain ownership of their original content.
By uploading content to Ed-Cademy, the educator grants Ed-Cademy a non-exclusive license to:

  • Display content

  • Sell content

  • Store and archive content

  • Apply watermarking and identification

  • Use content for platform operation and promotion

Content may be removed if it violates platform rules.


3. Use of AI Tools

AI tools may be used for assistance, but all uploaded materials must be reviewed, edited, and approved by the educator.
The educator is fully responsible for all uploaded content.


4. Video Sessions and Platform Use

All tutoring sessions must be conducted through the Ed-Cademy platform.

Sessions are automatically recorded.

Recordings:

  • Available to participants for up to one month

  • May be stored longer for compliance, training, or dispute resolution

Off-platform teaching or payment is prohibited.


5. Payments and Commission

Educators are paid based on the selected commission plan.

Payments are issued on a semi-monthly schedule:

  • 1st of each month

  • 15th of each month

A holding period may apply before funds become eligible for payout.

Commission rates, payout rules, and bonuses are defined in the Educator Policy.

The first 50 approved educators may qualify for a lifetime commission bonus.

Minimum payout requirements may apply.


6. Restrictions

Educators may not:

  • Redirect learners off the platform

  • Share accounts

  • Outsource teaching to unverified individuals

  • Upload copyrighted or illegal content

  • Misrepresent credentials

Violations may result in suspension or termination.


7. Moderation and Enforcement

Ed-Cademy reserves the right to:

  • Review content

  • Remove content

  • Suspend accounts

  • Terminate accounts

  • Withhold payouts when violations occur

All enforcement decisions are final.


8. Refunds and Disputes

Ed-Cademy manages all refund requests and disputes.
Refunds may be deducted from educator balances.

Ed-Cademy has final authority in dispute resolution.


9. Legal Jurisdiction

Ed-Cademy operates under the laws of the United States.

Any legal claims must be handled under U.S. jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.


10. Updates to Terms

Ed-Cademy may update these terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated terms.

Founding teacher bonuses and earned payments will not be reduced once granted.
