All tutoring sessions conducted on the Ed-Cademy platform may be recorded for safety, training, quality control, and dispute resolution.
Recordings are handled as follows:
After each session, the recording is uploaded to a secure server.
Recordings remain available on the secure server for up to three (3) days for students, parents, and educators to download.
After three days, recordings may be removed from the active server.
For safety, legal, and compliance reasons, Ed-Cademy may store recordings indefinitely in secure archive storage.
Archived recordings are not publicly accessible.
If a recording is requested after it has been removed from the active server, a $50 processing fee may be required to retrieve the file from archive storage.
Ed-Cademy does not guarantee that archived recordings will always be recoverable.
By using the platform, users agree to the recording of sessions.
Information is retained as long as your account is active or as required by law.
Ed-Cademy may keep certain records, including session logs, payments, and recordings, for safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance even after an account is closed.
Deletion of an account does not guarantee immediate deletion of stored records.
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect user information, including secure servers, encrypted connections, and restricted access.
No system can guarantee complete security, and users accept this risk when using the platform.
